Security at your wedding

The thought of hiring security for your wedding may not cross your mind, but it is more common–and more important–than you may think! There are enough little details to worry about on your big day without stressing about party crashers or that one cousin who had a little too much to drink. You may ask, what exactly would a security officer do at my wedding? Most commonly, you’ll find security patrolling the perimeter and interior areas of your venue. They can prevent strangers from peeking into your event, or worse, inviting themselves in! Both instances are common in venues near public areas like Downtown Greenville. The security team can also patrol parking areas to ensure that your guests’ vehicles are safe. Our security team can also assist with checking IDs to prevent underage drinking (thereby keeping your venue, bar staff, and guests out of hot water), and act as a deterrent to dangerously excessive alcohol consumption.

With High Spirits Hospitality’s new location at Judson Mill, there are two different wedding venues to choose from. Whether you’ve booked the Smokestack or the Annex, Bravo1 officers will make sure that your guests are parking in the correct lot and getting to the appropriate venue. They’ll also keep the two venues nice and separate from one another in order to make your event as private and personal as possible.

Some venues, like Judson Mill, require security for your wedding or event. The number of security personnel required at your event is typically based on your guest count. If you book your wedding with Judson Mill, your first security officer is included in the booking price.
